Indian community in Belgium condemns Jaipur terrorist attaCK
Brussels, May 14 , EuAsiaNews -- The Secretary General of the Europe India Chamber of Commerce and President of GOPIO (Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin) in Belgium, Sunil Prasad, condemned Wednesday the bomb blasts in Jaipur yesterday.
"It is a crime against humanity," he said in a statement adding that " such heinous attacks aimed at terrorizing people have absolutely no place in civil society. "
Prasad expressed confidence that people of Rajasthan will defeat the attempts of those terrorist who tried to colour the Pink City into Red and said that Indian community in Belgium shares the grief of the people of Jaipur.
Prasad said "we sympathize with all those who have lost a loved one and we pray that those families who are affected in any way will be provided with the necessary solace and relief" and he called upon central government and the government of Rajasthan to act expeditiously and impartially and to bring to book all those involved in this heinous act.
He also urged political parties from across the spectrum, to stop indulging in petty politicking and desist from activities that are bound to endanger the secular fabric and damage pluralistic framework of India.
